To help meet your family’s needs Weschler Consulting provides flexible payment options, including direct funding through the Regional Center’s Self Determination Program (once onboarded with your FMS) and a competative rate for private pay.
Private Pay
If you are a private paying (out of pocket) client my fee is $130.00 per hour*.
This is payable as soon after our tentative confirmation of your session as possible (think of it like a single session, short term “retainer”). And no later than 48 hours prior to your session date and time (unless we have explicitly made other arrangements).
Most people pay by PayPal and this will include and additional 3.44% to cover the PayPal fees.
*I offer a sliding fee if you have trouble affording the full fee. This will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

The Fine Print about Private Pay
Your payment at will be considered and Advance Fee Retainer
This is a payment for our specific, agreed-upon service in advance.
In essence you are reserving my time, which I will hold for you and will not be able to offer other clients.
This retainer is non-refundable, as it secures my availability and preparation time. However, if you are unable to attend a scheduled session, it may be reschedule with at least [24 hours] notice prior to your session date AND time. Reschedule date/time will be subject to my availability.
Expiration Policy: All services must be used within 90 days of payment.
Payment timeline: Your payment will always be due as soon after our tentative confirmation of your session as possible, and absolutely NO LATER than 48 hours prior to your session date AND time (unless we have expressly made other arrangements). Many clients pay at the time of the booking.
Your tentatively scheduled date/time cannot be guaranteed until payment is received and may be cancelled prior to payment, for example, if there is a request for this date/time by another paying client.
No-shows or cancellations with insufficient notice (less than 24 hours from the date AND time of the scheduled session) will result in forfeiture of that session’s advanced fee retainer, with no reschedule offered.
Asynchrous work products will not be begun until after payment is received.
Self Determination Program (SDP)
If you or your child/loved one is a regional center client and is currently in the Self Determination Program/SDP I can be included as a line item on their spending plan.
My hourly fee for SDP clients is $130.00 - $150.00 per hour* dependant on budget size.
Prior to sessions billed in this way I will have to be included on your spending plan with your regional center, the line item will need to be permitted as allowable per SDP rules, and I will need to be vendored with your Financial Services Management (FMS) agency to ensure I have been approved for payment. Once I am permitted in the spending plan you will do an email introduction with me and your FMS case manager/contact person and I will complete the onboarding with your FMS. I will then take care of the onboarding with the FMS and this may be billable time. Once I am fully onboarded with the FMS I will be able to bill for services provided to the participant.
An invoice will be provided at the end of each month that services are provided and payment is due at the next payment date through the FMS.
*A copy of budget is required to establish your rate BEFORE you include my services on your spending plan.
Getting Started
The initial meeting is always billed at two hours. This allows you the ability to send me intro info about your child/student/young adult, documents for me to review, for me do any necessary research for resources applicable for your general situation, and to complete a written and initial Recommendations and Resources report that will include a variety of recommendations and resources curated for your specific situation.
Subsequent sessions will include information on whatever your needs are at the time and may include short written reminder of any recommendations and resources we may talk about if this applies.
